Can I make crostini in advance?
You sure can! Prepping and freezing a bunch of crostini in advance is a great way to have easy weekly appetizers without the fuss!
Simply slice afresh baguette, brush with alittle olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Freeze your crostini on abaking sheetfor about an hour, then throw them in a zip-top bag to freeze until solid. When you’re ready to use them, just take out the number ofbread slicesyou need and bake according to the recipe.
What’s the difference between crostini and bruschetta?
Crostini (“little crusts” in Italian) aresmall slices of breadtoasted or baked in the oven, while bruschetta is a largeslice of breadrubbed with garlic and grilled to perfection. You’d typically be served many crostini but only one or two slices of bruschetta.

What do I need to make crostini?
Homemade crostiniand bruschetta are super simple to make and just involve a few simple ingredients.
