Make it a family affair.
The family that dresses up together, stays together. That's not quite the way the saying goes, but we're going to roll with it, because there are plenty of reasons to go all in on the family Halloween costume this year.
For starters, it's arguably easier than piecing together three, four, or even five or more totally different costumes. When you hone in on a theme, your research, shopping, and subsequent DIY projects will all center around the same thing, making it easier to stay organized, even if you're starting at the last minute.
And then there's the part about payoff: There's no question that a big group costume—including unique outfits for your baby boy or girl, and even the dog—will attract plenty of positive attention during your local Halloween festival, the neighborhood theme party, or your trick-or-treating escapades.
But how do you find matching getups the whole family will agree on? Start here, of course. We've scoured the internet for the most creative family costumes, from beloved Disney characters, to classics like the Addams family that you can easily DIY and Scooby Doo, to modern marvels like the Incredibles. We've also got plenty or inspiration for pregnant women as well so you can all get dressed up in something fabulous.
