I hope I can use heavy cream (20%) instead of evaporating milk (we don't have it here)

I made this pie for a population of people who have traveled a lot and tasted many sweet potato pies. I had such high praise and many compliments that this pie is absolutely the best ever tasted. This is because the creator of this recipe allowed the sweet potatoes to be the star of the dish. The common mistake is to treat the sweet potato pie like pumpkin pie which is really sad, but the creator of the recipe did well!
