If you live as a student on a budget, you would have to spend from 80,000 yen to 10,000 yen per month with rent. Not that expensive

Currently Japan has 110 million people very few babies born over the last 20 years plus.Within 10 to 15 years Japan will no longer exist.Japan had the same one child policy as china but so much time has passed rejuvenation of the population in both countries spells extinction but in all fairness every country globally are facing the same thing.

Rent should really include the move in costs. Those are around 6x the cost of rent, so it’s mostly the illusion of a cheaper rent happening here…

I've never been interested in visiting Japan or anywhere else in Asia including anywhere in Europe. I normally go where I'm treated best like where I'm from the U S.I've been contacted numerous times at the company I work for by numerous large companies in Asia for my IT tech expertise and I didn't contact any of them prirorly.People will be people no matter where they live worldwide but I've never been interested in the other side.

Our rent is below that and we live in Meguro-ku. It is about 10min away from the train station, close to 2 big local grocery stores, and a bonus that it is near a major highway.

I'm paying almost 200k for rent near city centre. No way you can find an apartment for less than 100k that's within a reasonable age and distance in Tokyo!
