About The Bellagio O Theater

Located in The Bellagio, the state-of-the-art O Theatre has been attracting audiences since 1998. Inspired by the European Opera Houses of the 14th century, this theatre comprises of 1800 seats, around a 1.5 million galloon pool of water. Perhaps the most impressive component of the stage is the noiseless water-pump system; one of the very core technical specifications that holds the show together. Additionally, the graceful architecture of the theatre neatly complements the performance’s plot, while accentuating the costumes of the cast.

Given that Section 103 in the Lower Orchestra is the most expensive, if your budget is lesser, fret not. The O theatre is huge, allowing for up to 1800 people to enjoy the show at a time, thus providing some fantastic views for a price that's easier on the pocket.

The Lower/Front Orchestra is closest to the stage, and consists of Sections 101-105, the first three rows of which come in the Splash Zone, and Loggia 100.

The Upper/Rear Orchestra consists of Sections 201-205, along with 8 suites and Loggia 200.

The Balcony is fartherest from the stage, but still provides good views. It consists of Sections 301-303 and Loggia 300.

Which Seats Offer the Best View?

Categories 1 and 2 (Upper & Lower Orchestra) are the best seats in the theater as they offer a direct view of the stage. However, if you’re willing to sit at a distance from the stage, the Balcony is also great for watching the show.

To get the best unobstructed view, it’s best not to go too low or too high. Staying within the Upper Orchestra is perhaps the best place to view the show. While the splash-zone seats can be fun for many, most audiences that attend the O show come dressed up in their Sunday best, so they prefer to avoid the section. However, if you’re bringing along children, the splash-zone areas could be thrilling for them; making the experience better altogether.

If you’re looking to sit in front, the lower orchestra provides a good view too. The recommended section is obviously 103 (being the priciest, after all).

Which Seats/Section Offer the Best Value for Money?

While it’s obvious that the best view of the show would be from the Upper Orchestra, i.e., Section 2, the tickets have been regarded by many as “pricey”. Balcony seats on the other hand have a great view as well, with a $40 difference.

30-Second Takeaway

  • The O Theatre has a seating capacity of 1800.
  • The theatre is divided into three sections - Balcony, Rear/Upper Orchestra, and Front/Lower Orchestra.
  • While the hotel is home to various shows, the O show is one of its best-known shows.
  • In the lower orchestra, there are 5 sections; each of these sections have 13 rows. The first three rows in each section has been classified as a “splash zone”; that is, audience members seated here may get a bit wet from the splashing of the pool.
  • There are also some “limited view” seats within the theatre, which involves an obstructed view due to angle and proximity to the stage. These seats are within the 101, 105 sections.
  • Wheelchair access seating is available across all categories.
